Young Quines for the Climate!

What connects cow burps to flying? Why are sea levels rising and heatwaves becoming more common? And what is being done around the world to tackle climate change?
For the Fife Climate Youth Festival, Young Quines will create a Climate Fresk to map the causes and impacts of climate change. Our Climate Fresk will feature our own card inspired by ecofeminist thinking, and be decorated with the big and small solutions that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Then, we'll make our own plan for what climate action we want to take in our community... watch this space!
Young Quines is a drama group for young women, trans and non-binary teenagers aged 12-18 in Fife. They work alongside professional theatre makers to create theatre with a distinctly feminist voice. Most recently they devised Hexenhammer, an original performance about medieval and modern witch-hunts, which was selected to be part of the National Festival of Youth Theatre 2026.
This event is part of the Fife Climate Youth Festival and supported by Climate Action Fife.
