Winter fruit tree pruning workshop – Tayport

Event Information

Learn how to prune your fruit trees in winter.

This workshop will be led by Kit Cubitt. This workshop will take place in the Larick Centre and then the Tayport Community Garden. There will be an option to stay on after lunch and prune the trees at the Fruit Tree Walk, Scotscraig Drive, Tayport.

This event is suitable for beginners. This event will be partly outdoors. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather.
Strong gardening gloves are recommended. Equipment will be provided but bring your own secateurs and loppers if you have them.

Please bring a packed lunch which we can eat indoors at the Larick Centre if you want to stay on for the afternoon. Coffee/tea and snacks included in workshop.

This workshop is free thanks to grant funding.

Accessibility 

The Larick Centre fully accessible. Wheelchair accessible at the Community Garden. There are steep grassy slopes at Fruit Tree Walk.
