Who should attend?
This course is for everyone living and working in Fife. Whether you are an individual who wants to increase your knowledge and ability to act, part of a community group or local third sector organisation or business, this course is relevant for you.
If you work for a third sector employability organisation, then understanding the climate emergency will become an increasingly important factor in keeping the workforce employable. Scotland’s employees will need to be appropriately skilled to address both the climate emergency and changes to working practices that Scotland’s businesses and public and third sector employers will need to adopt going forward.
Additional information
Part of the session will include personal climate literacy accreditation, awarded to individuals by the Carbon Literacy Project. This personal accreditation will become increasingly important to workforces in the future, and helps organisations on the way to achieving accreditation as a Carbon Literate Organisation.
The Fife Climate Knowhow training is delivered by the Climate Action Fife project which brings together individuals, communities, local government and businesses to tackle the climate emergency and make Fife a greener and fairer place to live.
