Family Fossil Hunt and Beach Campfire

Family Fossil Hunt and Beach Campfire

Event Information

Join us at low tide for a family-friendly walk along the beach from Seafield, exploring the fascinating fossils to be found in this stretch of coast. We’ll finish with a campfire for toasted marshmallows and smores – bring a picnic too if you wish!

Additional Information

Please note that this event is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear, e.g. walking boots, wellies. Please bring your own water and snacks.

Participants should be able to walk 1-2 miles at a leisurely pace. The route is on paths and sand, with some rocky sections. No dogs please.
