Community Tree Planting in Crail

Event Information
As part of an ambitious plan to plant 10,000 trees around Crail we will be planting trees (many provided by The Woodland Trust) at Bow Butts and other sites in Crail on Saturday 22nd, and Sunday 23rd March from 10am - 4pm.
Meet at https://w3w.co/emulated.curbed.shared (Bow Butts, Crail)
Everyone is welcome regardless of age or experience. Any time you can afford, even if it's just an hour or two, is absolutely worthwhile. We are planting whips (small bare root saplings), so it’s easy (but repetitive) work.
There's no need to book, and if you can please bring a spade and a bucket, but we will provide some tools. Working as a pair or a trio is really efficient – one making the slits, one planting and stomping, and then perhaps a third putting in a supporting cane and protector.
Planting trees puts a long term smile on your face. If you haven’t done it before, come and give it a try! Help us help biodiversity, provide shelter, prettify the landscape, and fix a bit of carbon.
