Winter pruning workshop

Event Information

Join us at The Ecology Centre where we will learn about fruit tree pruning techniques/tools and then put them to use in the Community Orchard. The aim of the workshop is to learn new skills and improve the health and productivity of the trees leading to a good crop next autumn.

This event will be run by Kit Cubitt from Climate Action Fife. Join us at The Ecology Centre at 10:30am to learn about pruning after which we will head over to the orchard for the practical session.

● This workshop is suitable for beginners and you are welcome to bring your own tools, however, tools will be provided.
● Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
● Toilets are located at The Ecology Centre.
● Car parking is located off Red Path Brae at the cemetery entrance and there are a few spaces at The Ecology Centre.
● Refreshments will be provided.
