Sonic Beach Walk

Sonic Beach Walk

Event Information

Join Sonic Intangibles for a family-friendly sound and data walk along Seafield Beach. Through attentive listening, simple sonic experiments and scientific data, participants will uncover hidden stories of coastal erosion, pollution and possible future seascapes — and experience our local shore in a totally new way by hearing it.

No experience needed — just curiosity about our changing coastline. Free ticketed event: please book to help us manage numbers and avoid disappointment.

Useful information

People of all ages are welcome but please bear in mind the following event information. Events will include walking approximately 1km along the seafront on Seafield field. The event will last for approximately 3 hours and we will be outside the whole time (weather permitting).

The route is mainly on solid surfaces but some sections have steps and there may be some uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear for walking, and check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
