Real Nappies Workshop

Real Nappies Workshop

Event Information

Using real nappies is a simple, practical way for families to reduce waste and make a positive environmental impact. Disposable nappies create a huge amount of landfill waste and require significant energy, water, and materials to produce and transport. In contrast, real nappies can be washed and reused hundreds of times, dramatically cutting waste and reducing the carbon footprint of caring for your baby.

As part of the Fife Climate Action Festival, Fife Breastfeeding Café is running a Real Nappies Workshop to help local mums and families learn how reusable nappies work, what the different types look like, and how to wash, store, and fit them comfortably. We’re here to make real nappies feel simple, manageable, and totally doable — whether you want to use them full‑time or just now and again. Our volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat through options, answer questions, and help you find a system that suits your baby and your lifestyle.

You can reach Fife Breastfeeding Café via Facebook Messenger or Instagram, and we’re always here to support Fife mums in whatever choices feel right for their families.
