Discover the basics of forest gardening

Discover the basics of forest gardening

Event Information

This workshop will be led by Janice Gibson, long-term volunteer with PLANT and Forest Garden curator.

Come and join us for a workshop to learn the basics of designing, establishing and maintaining a Forest Garden. This workshop will include a tour of the Forest Garden and an introduction to the plants used.

There will be a mixture of discussion and activities to ensure you go away inspired and confident to start your Forest Garden journey. The forest gardener works with nature to co-create a sustainable and stable ecosystem. This regenerates soil, supports wildlife, nurtures the gardener and is aesthetically pleasing.
