Event Information
Andrew Lear, 'Apple Tree Man', will lead a winter fruit tree pruning workshop demonstrating different techniques to maintain established fruit trees.
We will start the day inside at our hub discussing the various methods and theory and then walk over (just across the road) to one of our orchards to prune established fruit trees under Andrew's guidance.
Free plant-based homemade soup and our own pressed apple juice will be available for lunch.
Andrew is a very experienced and knowledgeable facilitator with decades of work in this field and we know from previous workshops that they are engaging and informative and recommend for anyone with an interest in fruit trees.
