Evening stroll – Beveridge Park and Wizards Walk

Evening stroll – Beveridge Park and Wizards Walk

Event Information

Celebrate lighter evenings and the coming of Spring with Greener Kirkcaldy by joining them for an evening walk around Beveridge Park. The walk will start at their community building at East Fergus Place, and head to the park to enjoy the green space, woodland and lake views before returning to the start point.

The 2.5-mile walk will take around 1.5 hours and be mostly on flat, paved surfaces with some sections of track/footpath.

Why not go along to Greener Kirkcaldy's Community Meal first? They run every Wednesday with sittings at 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

This event is part of the Communities Connected programme.

Additional Information

Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead.

Participants should be able to walk 2 – 3 miles at a leisurely pace. The route is mainly on a paved surface, with a short section of track. The route is mostly flat with some slight inclines.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks if you feel you need them.

Toilets will be available at the start of the walk, in Greener Kirkcaldy’s community building. The building may be closed at the end of the walk.
