Tree Planting – Bow Butts Park, Crail
Event Information
As part of an ambitious plan to plant 10,000 trees around Crail we will be planting another lot of trees (provided by The Woodland Trust) at Bow Butts Park, Crail on Saturday 15th November from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Meet at https://w3w.co/emulated.curbed.shared (Bow Butts, Crail),
Everyone is welcome regardless of age or experience. Any time you can afford, even if it's just an hour, is absolutely worthwhile. We are planting whips (small bare root saplings), so it’s easy (albeit repetitive) work.
There's no need to book and, if you can, please bring a spade, although we will provide some tools. Working in twos or threes is really efficient – one making the slits, one planting and stomping, and then a third adding a supporting cane and protector, where needed.
Planting trees puts a long term smile on your face. If you haven’t done it before, come and give it a try! Help us help biodiversity, provide shelter, prettify the landscape, and fix a bit of carbon.
