Forth View Community Tree Planting

Forth View Community Tree Planting

Event Information

All are welcome to take part in some local climate action, planting trees around Forth View, Kirkcaldy. We managed to plant 13 trees in November and are looking for help to plant more trees please.

A mix of young and established trees will be sensitively planted around Forth View and Buchanan Court to increase canopy cover, enhance natural beauty, and establish habitat for wildlife.

Trees are essential for people, wildlife, and the environment and are one of the best ways to tackle the climate crisis.

No experience is necessary as we will show all you need to know. Appropriate tools and personal protective equipment will also be provided.

Booking is essential. There will be two sessions on the day, 10-12am and 2-4pm. Please choose your preference for morning and/or afternoon.

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Refreshments will be provided.

If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place.

This event is supported by Fife Council, Climate Action Fife, UK Government funding and Scottish Forestry.
