Big Day Oot bike ride
Event Information
Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride is to celebrate climate-friendly travel as part of the Fife Climate Festival. This ride will take you past Leven train station and onto Silverburn Park.
We will visit the Big Day Oot where there will be a variety of fun activities for the whole family. We will spend some time here, enjoy the activities and rest.
If you wish to end the ride here you can, or you can return with the group to Buckhaven via the Leven train station.

Distance – Medium
Hills – includes 1 hill
Surfaces – mainly smooth, good-quality surfaces. Some short sections that are uneven, with loose gravel.
Route – mainly on quite roads with some traffic-free paths,
Additional Information
Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.
Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 - 2 hours at a leisurely pace with breaks. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.
Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.

Booking Instructions
The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.
Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).

If you plan on bringing an adaptive bike, please let us know in the order form under accessibility requirements.
There is on street parking at the start point. If you would rather park at Leven train station where there is accessible spaces and join us from there please let us know in the accessibility requirements section of the booking form.
